英语课教案:No smoking, please!1

Idea: To learn the dialogue
Teaching Aim: Through learning the dialogue the students must be skillful at using the following useful sentences
1. Don't rush , please !
2. less noise, please !
3. what a pity!
4. It looks as if it isn't clean enough to bathe here.
The students can make similar dialogue with the useful sentences.

1、知识目标:掌握单词:gather, rubbish, get rid of 的用法及句型:
Don’t rush, please!
Less noise, please!
What a pity!
It looks as if it isn’t clean enough to bathe here.

、能力目标:培养学生的听说能力。
3
、情感目标:让学生了解我们现在生存的环境;让学生讨论改进现状的措施,提高学生爱护环境、保护环境的意识。
  让学生认识到环境保护的重要性,并且从身边的小事做起,保护校园环境。
Teaching methods:
1. Listening-and-answer activity to help the Ss to go through the dialogue.
2. Pair work or individual work to make every student work in class.
Teaching aids: a multimedia
Time: One period

Procedure:
  Step I. To teach some new words in the dialogue.
  Step II. To ask the Ss to make a list of what pollution there is now. Then
to listen to the dialogue with the books closed and find out what happened in the dialogue:
1. What are the school children going to look for?
2. What are they planning to do after this?
3. What is the problem ?
Step III. Read the dialogue in pairs and try to find out the difficulties in understanding.
Step III. To deal with some of the difficult points in the dialogue.
1. remind vt
提醒, 使想起(to cause sb . to remember to do sth)
  egThe boy reminded his mother of waking him up at six the next morning.
   The TV play reminded me of what I had done in my childhood.
2. When you find anything , make a note where it is found and do a drawing in your notebook.
   1) make a note (= make notes, take notes) .
   Be sure to make notes when you are having class.
   2) where 引导地点状语从句。
   egPlease make a mark where you have difficulty.
   Where there is water there is life.
   3) do a drawing 词组。 do 可以和很多名词构成词组。
   egdo a room,收拾房间
do a movie,
拍片
do a puzzle ,
解迷
do flowers
插花
do me a favor
帮个忙
3. It seems that
 从句似乎…… 看来…… 
eg
It seemed that no one came into the room..
   It seems that it is going to rain.
4. get rid of
去掉, 除去, 摆脱.
 eg I don't know how to get rid of my bad cold.
   You must try to get rid of your bad habit.
5. no matter
作连词,引导让步状语从句)后面跟how, what, which, where, whether, who等。
eg
No matter where you go , you must know you are Chinese.
   No matter how much the book cost, I must buy it.
   No matter who you are , you must obey the law.
6. suppose vt
猜想, 假定。 suppose 有几种用法。
   eg: Suppose that he has gone to the countryside.
   Suppose we go skating this afternoon =let us go skating this afternoon.
   Everyone is supposed to work hard for our society. ( 应该。 被期望)
  StepIV. Practice. The students will work in groups to make up the similar dialogue .
Step V. Discussion:
Just now we have found out the problem of pollution around us. Now please have a discussion:
What are the present problems and what should we do to give up pollution to make our environment clean and beautiful?

Step VI. To do the exercise at page 93.
   Homework: To finish off the Wb.

 

After teaching: (教后反思):
  本节课为学生提供了认识重新环境的平台。使学生认识到目前所生活的环境存在着很多问题。他们从身边的种种破坏校园环境的现象分析出导致这种不良现象的几种原因:一是由于小时候没养成良好的习惯,形成一种无意识的状态。二是缺乏自控能力,可能会随手扔垃圾;三是缺乏劳动教育。四是部分学生认为缺乏环境卫生教育是导致学生环境意识淡泊的重要因素。五是缺乏有效的监督。应有必要成立如绿色环保志愿小组等。
  学生普遍认为,应在以下几个方面形成共识:一是美我校园,人人有责。爱护校园环境要从自己做起,从身边的每一件小事做起,少说多做;二是在全校营造爱我校园、美我校园的氛围,让每位同学都积极参与创建绿色学校活动;三是在校园树立环境保护标语,标语向学生征集;四是加强环境保护教育,如举办环保讲座和环保图片展等;五是加强对学生的体验教育。如倡导学生自己种树、种花,并由自己维护;六是加强监督。政教处、学生会、督导队和卫生室要加强检查力度。
本节课通过讨论使学生在练习听力和口语的同时,也认识到了现存的环境问题,并提出了整改意见,基本完成了教学目标。
